Managing voicemail messages

The following notes indicate the various methods by which you can be notified of your messages, and how to access them:

Your phone has two prompts that you have an awaiting voicemail message.

Access to Messages

Telephone access to messages:

  • To listen to new messages: press the Messages button (or dial 27027),

as soon as an answer is apparent,

  • Key: [pin number]  #
  • Key: 1. (to listen to new messages)

Deleting Messages

During, or after listening to a message pressing 3 will delete that message.

Voicemail uses a similar system to Windows in that deleted messages are moved to a trash can. You then have the choice of retrieving those messages or permanently erasing them. While this trash can is cleared after 7 days, some customers find that their mailbox is giving them a 'mailbox full' message, even after they delete their messages.

Follow the steps below to erase deleted messages permanently:

  1. Access voicemail by pressing the messages button or dial 27027
  2. Enter your current PIN followed by #
  3. Press 3 for Old messages, then press 2 for Deleted messages then 2 to Erase old messages
  4. Follow the voice prompts to erase the messages.
