Audio and Visual conference


What is this service?

This service provides audio, video and multimedia teleconference services which allow users to connect with one another via the Internet and the global ISDN/PSTN telephone network from meeting rooms, teaching spaces, desktop computers, telephones, videophones and suitable mobile devices and other appliances.

Who can use it?

Authorised Monash University staff, students and other authorised users at all Monash University locations and externally.

How do I get it activated?


Most service elements do not require activation; equipment and desktop software can be obtained and devices registered by reference to the teleconference services web site.


How do I use it once it is activated?


Please refer to the teleconference services web site for locations of facilities, bookings and information about how to make best use of the services.


How much does it cost?


This is a centrally funded service. Equipment purchase costs apply. Some calls attract external telecommunications carrier call charges. For charges please contact Video Conference Services.
