Telephony


What is this service?


This service is the provision Telephony and associated services such as voicemail and billing.

Telephony and associated services consist of the following:

  • Fixed/Desktop phones
  • Voicemail
  • Mobil phones
  • Monash Fax
  • Switchboard
  • Contact Centres

Who can use it?

Authorised Monash University staff at Australian campuses and other authorised users. Students and visitors via phones in public places, teaching spaces and lifts. The general public for switchboard services.

How do I get it activated?


Visit the service installation and changes page  to submit a new telephone installation request.


How do I use it once activated?


This service is immediately available once installation is complete. For more information visit the relevant 'setup and use' giudes under the Voice & Video Services page.


How much does it cost?


Visit the tariff section of the fixed telephone services charges page.


What is not included?

Fixed Telephone services that are not on the Monash Network.

 

Mobiles


What is this service?

This service is the provision of mobile telephone services including telephone purchasing and billing.

Who can use it?

Authorised Monash University staff and other authorised users.

How do I get it activated?

The staff member or other authorised user should visit the mobile phone procurement website.

How do I use it once activated?

This service is immediately available once the staff member or other authorised user receives their mobile telephone. For information regarding support the staff member or other authorised user should visit the support section of the mobile phone procuremement website

How much does it cost?

Visit the mobile telephone service charges page for tariff information.

What is not include?

Any mobile telephony not provided by Monash.
