Monash-Connect wireless service

The latest wireless service for staff and students is now available at all Australian campuses. Called Monash-Connect, this new wireless service has been introduced to simplify wireless access as it does not require the use of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) session.

Other advantages of Monash-Connect include that it supports PDAs as well as laptop computers (Windows XP/Vista, Linux and Mac) and it has the same coverage as that for Monash-Wireless-Net and eduroam.

How to acces and use this service

For users already using Monash-Wireless-Net you can find out how to use the new service from the Monash wireless service page.

New users can sign up via the Monash-Connect page.

Visitors to Monash can access other wireless services including eduroam and Monash-Conference-Net.

The existing Monash-Wireless-Net service will remain available for staff and students needing to download the necessary authentication code and instructions for Monash-Connect.

The eduroam service for visiting academics from other educational institutions will also continue.
